Accountant II

The Accountant is responsible to assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with the Company’s monthly closing schedule.The prospective candidates must have experience in either public accounting, manufacturing or construction accounting disciplines.Location: Camden, NJPrimary ResponsibilitiesPrepare various balance sheet and income statement account analyses and reconciliations on a timely basis and investigate any differences.Prepare general ledger journal entries, including accompanying supporting documentation.Prepare cash, fixed assets, prepaid, intercompany and accrual reconciliations.Assist with monthly consolidation of financial statements.Prepare other management reporting schedules as required.Assist with the annual financial statement audit, including preparation of various account analyses and financial statement and footnote supporting schedules.Assist the Accounting Manager in fulfilling various other responsibilities of the Accounting/Finance Department.Intercompany transactions and consolidated financial reporting.Interacting with local accounting groups in the Company’s overseas operating centers.Reconciliation of transactions in various international currencies. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Strong oral and written communication skills.Detail oriented, professional attitude, ability to work independently.Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
