CT Tech Location: Presque Isle, ME Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $2,522 to $2,722 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 6/22/2026 About the Position Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech. You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility. Minimum Requirements: 1 year of CT experience required. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and CT (ARRT (R) with CT endorsement preferred). ME state radiologic technologist license required. Current BLS certification required. Experience with ED, outpatient, and inpatient CT studies including CTA studies. Comfort with intravenous contrast administration and IV start skills. Experience or willingness to be trained on CT-guided biopsy procedures; biopsy experience highly preferred but not required. Experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment preferred. Ability and willingness to float between CT and general X-ray, perform portables, and assist in OR C-arm or fluoroscopy when trained. Experience working with Cerner EMR and PACS (Enterprise Imaging/AGFA) preferred. Ability to work in a setting that serves primarily adult and geriatric populations with some pediatric patients. First-time travelers welcome. Orientation of 1–1.5 weeks provided based on comfort level. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital (89 licensed beds, teaching facility). Shift: Days. Shift details: Days 0700-1900 (3x12). Unit information: 1 CT room; CT volume averages 25–30 patients per day. CT studies include ED, outpatient, inpatient, oncology, abdominal, post-surgical, and trauma studies. Floating: Will float between CT and X-ray; may float to OR and perform bedside portables as needed. On call: No. Weekend rotation: Varies based on requisition; schedule typically Monday–Friday unless weekend coverage is needed due to PTO or unexpected absence. Holiday coverage: Rotational; approximately 50–75% of holidays during contract. Support staffing: Lead tech on unit. Typical coverage includes 2 CT techs on weekdays/evenings and 1 on weekends. Radiologist on site until ~1630–1700 then remote coverage.
