Read more.Job DescriptionHR Business Partner is responsible for providing hands-on HR support to a local employee population while partnering with corporate HR functions and supporting core HR functions including recruitment coordination, employee relations, onboarding, performance support, and HR operations. This role partners with leadership to drive and enhance employee experience, ensure compliance, and optimize HR operations while serving as the local HR point of contact and coordinating with corporate Centers of Excellence as needed.Partner with senior leadership to support local people priorities and implement corporate HR programs aligned with organizational goalsLead local staffing planning discussions and provide input to site leadership on organizational needs and workforce updatesMonitor key local HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, and engagement and share relevant insights with site leadership and corporate HRDrive culture, engagement, and retention strategiesPartner with hiring managers and corporate Talent Acquisition to support recruitment activities, interviewing, and hiring coordinationManage leave of absence and accommodation processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations while supporting employees through timely and effective case management. Coach and support managers on employee matters and performance-related discussions, escalating more complex issues when appropriateInterpret and support company polices providing guidance to employees and managers, ensuring consistent application, and maintaining complianceCoordinate and deliver local new hire orientation and onboarding activitiesConduct and analyze exit interviews to gather employee feedback, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve retention, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. Partner with hiring managers to define roles and hiring plansSupport the contingent worker process using outside vendorProvide guidance on employee relations matters and conflict resolutionEnsure compliance with employment laws and company policiesManage investigations and documentation as neededSupport performance management processes and coach managers on consistent applicationManage the offboarding process for managers and employeesSupport payroll processing by coordinating local inputs, reviewing transactions, and partnering with the payroll team to help ensure accuracy and timelinessCoordinate employee communications related to HR programs, policy updates, and site-level initiativesServe as the local HR contact for employees and managers and escalate specialized matters to the appropriate corporate HR teams when needed RequiredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field8+ years of progressive HR experience supporting generalist HR activities in a site or business unit environmentExperience supporting recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and payroll coordinationStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesExperience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and comfort managing employee data and transactionsAbility to coachExperience working in a manufacturing environment desiredMust adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPointExcellent oral and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientationDemonstrates understanding of policies and ability to apply them consistentlyPreferredHR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR)Experience supporting site leadership and partnering effectively with corporate HR functionsStrong analytical and project management skillsPay range: $90,000 - $130,000 base salary depending on experienceMany Evident positions are located at export-control-restricted work locations or require access to export-controlled information. The salary rate for this role is currently $90,000 - $130,000. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
