Travel OR Nurse - Madison, IN (13-week contract)

Shift: 630a-7p / 3x12s Location: Jeffersonville IN Must reside over 75 miles away in order to qualify for stipends for those assignments in Jeffersonville, IN Open to local candidates at a rate of $47/hr This is a 13-week travel assignment with the possibility of extending Call Required: 7 days per six weeks (3 of those days are the weekend) Experience in ortho, general, OB/GYN, eyes and spine Job Summary A professional nurse is an individual accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe effective patient and family centered care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit, promoting his/her own development with an emphasis on evidence based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. Applying the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care, the RN has the responsibility to assess, develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care. The RN focuses on patient and family comforts, education and satisfaction. The RN applies his/her educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff. Requirements Valid RN license or Compact Two years minimum of experience in OR nursing Familiarity with Epic BLS, ACLS, NIH certification Must pass background checks and drug screening prior to employment #IND2 Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary Pay: Up to $2,365.00 per week Work Location: In person
