Supply Management Planner IRobert Half is hiring with a manufacturing company seeking a Supply Management Planner I to support supply chain planning and material procurement activities. This role focuses on coordinating purchased materials, communicating with suppliers, and supporting inventory and logistics processes within a defined planning framework. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career supply chain professional looking to grow within a structured manufacturing environment. This role supports low‑complexity supply chain planning activities and is fully onsite within a manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate daily with internal and external suppliers regarding schedule releases and delivery requirementsSchedule purchased materials based on economic order quantities, optimal inventory levels, and replenishment needsMonitor supplier performance and investigate supply or delivery issues, recommending timely corrective actionsPerform routine inventory control tasks, including quantity, quality, and availability checksCollect and compile market data, cost drivers, and supplier information to support planning decisionsAssist in reviewing supply chain operations and identifying improvement opportunitiesGather and report contract performance data to support negotiations and renewalsSupport Supply Management Specialists with planning, coordination, and reporting activitiesArrange stakeholder meetings, actions, and follow‑upsDevelop process and technical skills through ongoing training and developmentRequired Skills & AbilitiesStrong planning, organizing, and action‑oriented skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collect, analyze, and report dataBasic knowledge of procurement and supply chain processesCost awareness and budgeting fundamentalsProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelStrong typing and general computer skillsEducation: Post‑Secondary Non‑Tertiary EducationExperience:Basic experience using simple office or operational systems (approximately 4–6 months preferred)Entry‑level candidates with very limited experience (0–3 months) are encouraged to applyRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
