Jr. Field Service Coordinator

Position Overview: The Jr. Field Service Coordinator will be working under the Field Service Coordinator. Who is responsible for scheduling and coordinating field service operations, ensuring smooth communication between field service technicians and customers, sales, production, and management team. This role involves assisting and overseeing the entire service process, from job scheduling to the completion of field service tickets, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Scheduling and Coordination: - Schedule and assign jobs to field service technicians based on priority and availability. - Communicate upcoming jobs and changes with field service technicians to ensure proper planning and execution. 2. Field Service Ticket Management: - Create and manage field service tickets, ensuring they are completed on time and documented accurately. - Follow up on all open service tickets to ensure issues are resolved promptly. 3. Insurance and Maintenance Checks: - Liaise with insurance providers to verify coverage and ensure compliance with company policies. - Conduct routine checks on machinery and equipment to ensure they meet safety and operational standards. 4. Fleet Monitoring and Inspection: - Oversee the company’s fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety regulations. - Conduct regular inspections of trucks and trailers in the fleet, addressing any maintenance or safety issues. -Get updates from maintenance shops on the status of trucks that are down for service, ensuring timely repairs and return to operation. 5. Safety and Compliance: - Ensure all field operations comply with safety protocols and industry standards. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and safety checks. - Monitor and log monthly H2S monitor checks, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and up to date. Qualifications: - Proven experience in field service coordination or a similar role. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with technicians and management. - Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the field service industry. - Familiarity with fleet management and maintenance practices, including vehicle and trailer inspections. - Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) for documentation, scheduling, and communication.
