At our core, we help our industry clients innovate and develop new markets in the Lifesciences sectors, with a very impact-oriented and grounded approach.Building on this foundation, in 2024, Alcimed successfully launched Nautilus.ai, its Digital & AI activity dedicated to the design & development of function-specific, bespoke, ethical, and secure digital & AI tools.At Nautilus.ai, we help Lifesciences industry players leverage data; harness and ethically apply state-of-the-art digital and AI technologies to build solutions which serve, and foster human added value - thereby enhancing their positive impact on healthcare systems and patients.Your missionsAs a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building high-quality, user-centric applications that embed advanced AI capabilities and are deployed directly within our clients' secure environments in the healthcare industry.Your main responsibilities include:Design and develop fully featured, enterprise-grade (web) applications, with a strong focus on frontend quality and user experienceTranslate functional and UX requirements into scalable, maintainable software architecturesDevelop frontend components using modern frameworks and contribute to backend development and API integration when neededEnsure applications meet healthcare industry expectations in terms of security, reliability, and performanceCollaborate closely with AI/ML Engineers to integrate AI-powered features into applicationsParticipate in agile project cycles: design, development, testing, iteration, and deploymentAct as a technical contributor and emerging leader within small project teamsInteract directly with clients to gather feedback, iterate on features, and ensure solutions fit their workflows and ecosystemThe real plus of your mission? You are in direct contact with our customers to help them move forward and shape the world of tomorrow.Your profileMaster's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field1–2 years of professional experience in software development, ideally on production-grade applicationsStrong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js, or similar)Experience building clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend architecturesFamiliarity with backend development, APIs, and databases is a plusExperience working in collaborative, cross-functional teamsInterest in healthcare, life sciences, or digital health (prior industry experience is a plus, not a requirement)Comfortable working in client-facing, agile consulting environmentsCurious, pragmatic, and product-oriented mindsetKey skills:Frontend Engineering, Full-Stack Development, React, Vue.js, Next.js, TypeScript, UX/UI, Healthcare Software, Agile, Product Development, AI-enabled Applications.Full-time permanent contract to be filled as soon as possibleWork authorization in the US is necessary
