Revenue Cycle Specialist Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite Training, then Hybrid Schedule)Pay: $16–$18/hourSchedule: Full-Time Hours; day shiftDuration: Contract-to-hireAbout the RoleWe are a partnering with a third-party Revenue Cycle Management company, helping them identify a motivated and detail-oriented RCM Specialist to join their team in San Antonio. This role begins with in-person training and transitions into a hybrid schedule. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving billing challenges, and values accuracy in their work.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track claim statuses, identifying and resolving claim rejections or denials promptlyConduct regular follow-ups with insurance companies to verify claim status and resolve outstanding issuesReview, research, and appeal denied claims while adhering to payer deadlines and requirementsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations, billing guidelines, and coding updatesCollaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with payer requirementsGenerate and analyze billing and collections reports to identify trends and areas for improvementRequired Skills & QualificationsExperience in a high-volume administrative environmentInvestigative, problem-solving mindsetProfessional persistence when handling follow-ups and escalationsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong technical fluency and ability to navigate multiple systemsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a healthcare settingMedical billing and/or coding certificationAssociate degree in Healthcare Administration or completion of a similar programWork EnvironmentInitial onsite training in San Antonio, TXTransition to a hybrid schedule (combination of onsite and remote work) after training completionEmployment TypeContract-to-Hire (C2H)Full-time hours with opportunity for permanent placementWhy Apply?Join a RCM organization where your work directly impacts healthcare providers’ financial success.
