Yield Innovations is hiring a Midwest-based Regional Sales Manager. If you’re passionate about ag innovation, relationship-building, and helping drive success on the farm, we’d love to connect. This role is ideally based in northern Illinois, northern Indiana, northwest Ohio, or southwest Michigan, and candidates must have prior experience in the agriculture industry.Primary Responsibility: This self-motivated and charismatic individual will be responsible for building the Yield Innovations business in a defined territory. This will be accomplished by recruiting and training Yield Consultants and supporting their sales efforts. Desired Skills and ExperienceRevenue GenerationDevelop a business plan that grows a territory with efficiency in logistics in mindProspect and recruit new Yield Consultants via cold calling, networking and industry events Train Yield Consultants on The Agronomic Profit System™ (TAPS), products and agronomyBuild annual business plans with Yield Consultants and hold them accountable to work the planSell with Yield Consultants, helping them to build their business, which in turn builds both your business and Yield InnovationsMeet/exceed sales goalsProduct and Industry KnowledgeUnderstand and sell all products in TAPS, including Yield Innovations proprietary products and Crop Protection Products included in the The Agronomic Profit System™ (TAPS)Investigate and Resolve Customer Agronomic Issues with solid recommendationsWalking and Scouting fields with customers and/or Yield ConsultantsMaintain up to date knowledge of industry products and technologyGather and communicate competitive information, identify markets and make suggestions on how to reactAdditional RequirementsHigh level of communication up, down and across the organizationStrong presentation skills including building strategic plans, quotes and proposalsFacilitate grower meetings to introduce Yield InnovationsStrong attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize client needs in a fast-paced environmentEnsure Yield Consultant’s timely entry of orders and all other necessary administrative requirements to finalize customer ordersStrong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel, PowerPoint, and Sales business appsCollect Yield Consultant past due accounts if neededCompensation: Yield Innovations offers a competitive compensation package including an industry leading commission structure along with Health, Dental and Vision insurance and a 401K program.
