In this role, you will support mission-critical systems that automate complex workflows, enabling customers to focus on high-priority cyber and intelligence operations.You will serve as a technical leader across the systems engineering lifecycle, working closely with Government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The team operates in an Agile environment and leverages modern engineering and DevOps practices.This position is performed onsite at a contractor facility, with telework flexibility based on tasking and customer approval.What You'll DoAnalyze user needs and develop system requirements and specificationsDevelop and contribute to systems engineering documentation (e.g., CONOPS, requirements, interface control documents)Lead system design, development, and integration effortsGuide stakeholders in refining requirements and recommending technical solutionsConduct system trade studies and feasibility analyses to optimize lifecycle performancePlan and execute system verification and validation activitiesLead system integration and test planningInterface directly with Government stakeholders to resolve technical issues and risksProvide technical direction across the full systems engineering lifecycleEnsure configuration management and control of system components and documentationDefine system interfaces, including data flow and integration points across complex systemsQualificationsBasic QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is requiredBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field and Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexityFive (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a degreeDemonstrated experience leading systems engineering efforts across the full lifecycleExperience developing and implementing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutionsExperience conducting system trade studies and lifecycle optimization analysesExperience managing system configuration (hardware, software, and documentation)Experience developing scalable system design solutions considering cost, risk, and growthKnowledge of current and evolving engineering standards and best practicesExperience defining system interfaces, including origination, destination, and data characteristicsPreferred QualificationsExperience with agency dataflow and reporting solutionsExperience defining performance, availability, scalability, and security requirements for large-scale systemsExperience leading Agile development teamsExperience integrating COTS and GOTS solutions across multiple vendorsExperience with cloud or clustered storage environmentsExperience developing secure, compliant solutions aligned with policy and regulatory requirementsDetailsTarget Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
