Baker

*FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:* **please note - we are looking for LONG TERM employees; we are hoping to build a strong starting team as we are a new small business** *Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our small team at Ctrl Alt Refresh. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baked goods/breads and an understanding of kitchen operations, ensuring that food items are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The breads and pastries prepared at Ctrl Alt Refresh will consist of Filipino and Hong Kong favorites. We are looking for a team player who can support other team members and uplift the business as a whole. *Responsibilities*

• Prepare and bake bread/pastry items according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
• Organize breads/pastries in display case and inform staff of bread/pastry inventory to manage throughout the day
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist manager with ordering supplies as needed

*Requirements*

• Previous experience in a bakery setting is required (minimum 1 year)
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for baking preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong proficiency in various cooking/baking techniques
• Willing to obtain Food Handler Certification (training/program paid by company)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
