Lead DevOps Engineer
Our client is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to take ownership of a mission-critical, on-premises Linux environment while helping shape the long-term path toward cloud. This is a chance to lead infrastructure strategy from the ground up — stabilizing core operations today while laying the groundwork for a major cloud migration down the road. You'll be a key technical voice at the table as the organization plans its next chapter.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead and manage the day-to-day Linux, on-premises environment
Own stability and performance of current infrastructure and operations
Partner with leadership to develop a future cloud migration strategy
Administer and maintain Azure DevOps, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Arc for Linux
Support adoption of cloud-native tooling (e.g., Azure Reverse Proxies)
Guide the team through migration planning alongside Development
Ensure operations remain strong regardless of migration timeline or pace
What You'll Need to be Considered
Strong, hands-on Linux and on-premises DevOps experience
Experience administering Azure-native tooling (Key Vault, Azure Arc, DevOps)
Comfortable leading infrastructure decisions with minimal oversight
Experience balancing on-prem operations with cloud tooling adoption
Prior experience guiding or mentoring a technical team
