The purpose of this position is to perform project controls administration including, but not limited to, the following: material expediting, quantity tracking, cost control, scheduling, document control, basic job cost management, subcontract management, and procurement. If you have this experience, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesDevelop, update, and maintain project scheduleSupport weekly schedule update meetings with project teamSupport project team in issuing schedules, progress and commodity curves, basis of schedule, and histogramsPerform resource loading and levelingCoordinate with the project team and/or subcontractorsPerform schedule and progress analysis and make recommendations to the project teamAssess impact of changes and deviations to the project scheduleAssist in developing “what if” exercises and mitigation strategiesReview the work hour forecast developed by the project teamDevelop the baseline construction schedule outlining the sequence of work to be performedEnsure that the schedule is updated per project requirements, based on change orders, field performance, availability of construction materials, and similar factors that can impact the final completion dateSubmit schedule updates to customer as required by the contract documentsEnsure Weekly Progress, Manpower and Commodity Curves are developed, updated, and issuedIssue Weekly Schedule Analysis ReportCreate detailed “Look Ahead” schedules and weekly updates as requiredAbility to interface with the Austin project team to gather information in the development and weekly updates of the project scheduleEffective working relationships with customer, subcontractors, and suppliersQualificationsMust have a strong commitment to jobsite safety and be diligent in demonstrating safe work practicesMust be highly organized with an attention to detailBe an effective communicatorAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlineDetailed working knowledge of Primavera Scheduling SoftwareRequirementsBachelor’s of Science Degree in Construction Management or related degree requiredFive years of construction heavy civil scheduling experience requiredRead and interpret owner’s drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project schedule developmentStrong knowledge of Construction Systems and Trade SequencingPresentation skills required in meetings and trainingsExperience using Primavera (Oracle) P6 version or newerApplicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
