Millwright – Retrofit Project (60 hrs/week)
$48.62/hr + OT (No Per Diem) + Foreman Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced NCCER-Certified Millwright to join our team for a long-term retrofit project expected to last one year or more. This role involves 90% new construction/installation of new equipment and 10% removal of existing equipment to prepare for upgrades.
This is a 60-hour per week contract:
First 40 hours: Straight time
Next 20 hours: Time-and-a-half
Starting pay: $48.62/hr — No Per Diem
Potential advancement to Foreman based on performance and leadership.
Responsibilities
Install new mechanical equipment as part of a major retrofit project
Remove outdated equipment and prepare areas for new systems
Build and rebuild pumps and other rotating equipment
Perform all types of alignments, including:
Coupling alignments
Laser alignments
Utilize rigging skills for safe movement and placement of equipment
Operate oxy-fuel torches safely and effectively
Use high-torque tools and precision equipment
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical schematics
Work with hydraulic systems and assist in system troubleshooting
Operate scissor lifts, man lifts, and other site equipment
Collaborate with engineering teams on new installations and system upgrades
Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols
Work effectively with others and maintain a safety-focused environment
Requirements
NCCER Millwright Certification – REQUIRED
7+ years of experience as a millwright in industrial settings
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Excellent spatial awareness
Proven teamwork and communication skills
Safety-conscious mindset
Ability to work in a high-paced construction environment
