OverviewThe Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Maintenance Technician located at our Service Center: 10750 State Route 30 Irwin, PA 15642.The Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.The pay for this position starts at $24 / hour. A minimum of 1 ASE must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire. Pay will increase by $1 / hour for each ASE certification. Responsibilities include:Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levelsPerform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelinesRepair and replace tiresReplace wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a repair order (RO) to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repairComply with part and inventory tracking proceduresProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all servicesMay process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backsFollow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standardsMaintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standardsSeek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal settingMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualificationsTwo years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles is requiredMust be able to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within 6 months of hire (A1-A8)Must be PA State Inspection and Emission Licensed through PennDOT or must be willing to get licenses within 30 days of hireMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 3 years (DUI/DWI)Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or G.E.D required
