Apprentices for HVAC and Fireplaces

An Apprentice Installer will assist other installers in the installation of fireplaces and/or heating and air conditioning systems by providing customers with high quality experience and exceeding their expectations. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the HVAC Industry. We offer excellent benefits including medical, vacation, holiday pay, and uniforms. *Essential Functions: *Works with hands, works off ladder, ability to work on roofs & in attics on occasion *Sense of urgency & hard working *Takes initiative *Takes pride in your work, yourself, and the company · Basic safety knowledge of tools & surroundings · Unloading & loading truck · Purchase & maintain all required hand tools · Follow directions as given- written & verbal · Ability to work with iPad for job duties, timecard, and detail entry. · Be able to carry 100 pounds · Willingness to invest time in training & seminars · Be able to communicate effectively with customers · Showing Respect, clean appearance, & good-behavior habits as you are working in a person's home · Ideal Candidates work week would be Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm Requirements: *Mechanically inclined, experience with tape measure, power & hand tools · High School Diploma or associate’s degree · Positive attitude & hard working · Arrive on time daily · Take direction well · Ability to work well under limited supervision · Strong attention to detail · Have a valid driver’s license Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Overtime Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Experience: HVAC or Construction: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
