Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Finance & Accounting Associate to oversee day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping, reporting, and analysis. This role combines strategic financial planning with hands-on execution to ensure accuracy, compliance, and meaningful insights that support business growth. Key ResponsibilitiesManage financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support business decisions and performance goalsPartner closely with the General Manager to oversee cash flow, working capital, and long-term financial planningCollaborate with department heads and executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendationsSupport process improvement and cost optimization initiativesCoordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with external accountants and the company’s CPAManage tax filings, audits, and communication with external advisorsMaintain and enhance internal financial policies, procedures, and controlsPrepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow)Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data in coordination with relevant departmentsPrepare invoices and credit memos accurately and follow up on collections to maintain positive cash flowManage accounts payable, including entering vendor bills, reconciling statements, tracking due dates, and processing paymentsMaintain accurate financial records in Smartsheet and Excel for forecasting and reportingAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with leadershipServe as a finance and accounting liaison for HQ requests, ensuring timely and accurate responsesPerform any other related duties as assigned Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred)3–5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, ideally within a service or design industryProficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and SmartsheetStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsProven ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiencyAbility to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaborativelyFluent in English.
