OverviewObservability Engineer with expertise in enterprise monitoring and integration development to deliver full-stack visibility across 250+ mission-critical services supporting enterprise operations. You will deploy monitoring agents, onboard applications, build dashboards, develop integrations, and review incidents to improve future monitoring. This role has a growth path into AIOps, automation, and platform development as the program scales. U.S. citizenship is required.You Have3+ years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, observability, and systems engineeringExperience deploying and operating Dynatrace for application and infrastructure monitoring, including agent deployment, management zones, dashboards, and alertingExperience configuring Real User Monitoring (RUM) and building operational dashboards tied to SLOsExperience writing automation and integration code in Python, JavaScript, Bash, and PowerShellExperience building integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, data connectors, and OpenTelemetry pipelinesExperience reviewing incidents after resolution to identify monitoring gaps and recommend instrumentation improvementsExperience working in Agile environments with sprint-based deliveryKnowledge of network monitoring fundamentals, including SNMP, SNMP traps, Syslog, or NetFlowKnowledge of application architectures, including microservices, containers, and API gatewaysBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information TechnologyNice If You HaveExperience with Dynatrace Synthetic monitoring, Session Replay, AppSec, digital experience monitoring, and Dynatrace IntelligenceExperience with ServiceNow Event Management, including event rules, alert management rules, alert correlation, alert lifecycle, ITOM/ITSM integration, Glide API, and ITIL practicesExperience deploying monitoring agents and observability tooling in government cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, IL4/IL5) with restricted networks and STIG hardeningExperience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFKExperience with containerization and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with Splunk, Splunk Enterprise Security (SIEM), Cribl, and SolarWindsExperience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and Dynatrace Configuration as CodeExperience using observability data for capacity planning and infrastructure forecastingDynatrace Certified Associate or Professional Certification or ServiceNow CIS-EM certificationCompensation and BenefitsAt Booz Allen, we offer health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. The compensation range for this position is $62,000 to $141,000 annually, dependent on location and experience.
