In this role, you will develop new business, manage client relationships, and sell integrated building technology solutions, including fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and other smart building systems for diverse facilities such as data centers, industrial and manufacturing sites, schools, healthcare facilities, and stadiums.The ideal candidate understands consultative sales, has experience in commercial construction or technology integration, and can communicate technical solutions clearly to contractors, facility managers, property owners, and building owners.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, property managers, consultants, and building ownersIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and municipal marketsConduct site visits, customer meetings, and needs assessmentsPrepare proposals, estimates, presentations, and system recommendationsCoordinate with engineering, estimating, project management, and field operations teams to develop accurate scopes of workManage the sales cycle from prospecting through contract executionMaintain strong knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards related to life safety and low-voltage systemsTrack sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM softwareAttend networking events, industry trade shows, and customer meetings to build market presenceSupport long-term customer satisfaction and recurring service opportunitiesSystems & Solutions SoldFire Alarm SystemsAccess Control SystemsCCTV / Video SurveillanceIntrusion DetectionIntercom & Paging SystemsStructured CablingNurse Call SystemsAudio/Visual SystemsMass Notification SystemsSmart Building & Integrated Security PlatformsQualifications2+ years of sales experience in low-voltage, electrical, construction, security, fire alarm, or building technology industries preferredStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to read construction drawings and specifications is a plusUnderstanding of commercial construction processes and project biddingSelf-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skillsExperience with CRM software and Microsoft Office SuiteValid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer meetingsPreferred ExperienceKnowledge of NFPA, NEC, and other applicable industry standardsExperience selling integrated systems or service agreementsExisting relationships within the construction or property management industriesManufacturer certifications or familiarity with major platforms such as:HoneywellJohnson ControlsLenelS2GenetecAxis CommunicationsIdeal Candidate TraitsHunter mentality with strong closing skillsComfortable discussing technical systems with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong attention to detail and follow-throughTeam-oriented with a customer-first mindsetDriven to grow long-term client partnerships and recurring revenueWe're an equal opportunity employer.
