This role includes washing, chopping, measuring, and portioning ingredients, following recipes and prep lists accurately, and upholding all food safety and sanitation standards. Prep Cooks work closely with line cooks and kitchen leadership to maintain efficiency, consistency, and quality throughout the shift. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, solid basic kitchen skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standardsWash, chop, measure, and portion food items for daily serviceLabel, date, and store ingredients properlyMaintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, equipment, and storageAssist line cooks and chefs with prep lists and daily tasksFollow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelinesSupport the kitchen team during busy periods as neededCommunicate inventory needs or shortages to supervisorsWhat We're Looking For:Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but not requiredStrong knife skills and understanding of basic food prep techniquesAbility to follow recipes and instructions accuratelyOrganized, efficient, and able to multitaskAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periodsDependable, punctual, and eager to serveFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong understanding of health regulations and ability to enforce cleanliness standards.Required certifications Food Handler's CertificationWhy LRW Concepts:We are an experience to be had not only as a guest but as an employee.
