OverviewLMI is seeking an experienced API Developer to join a high performing team supporting a government healthcare client . LMI advances the pace of progress, enabling our customers to thrive while adapting to evolving mission needs.Responsibilities Collaborate with backend developers to implement APIs to serve data from several databases to various users Write clean, maintainable, and efficient APIs capable of serving 100-1000 concurrent requests with the potential to scale to 10,000 concurrent requests Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to  maintain  code quality and best practices.  Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to project planning and estimation.  Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.  Qualifications Required: Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience and a STEM BS degree (or equivalent experience).  Proven experience as a API  Developer or similar role.  2-5 years experience developing and administering APIs Proficiency  in  Javascript , HTML, and CSS.  Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as Vue, React, and/or Angular.  Experience with version control systems such as Git and/or Bitbucket.  Experience with Agile development methodologies.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.  Desired Skills Agile, Lean, DevOps, Cloud, Security+ or other professional certification  Familiar with federal security standards Familiar with HL7 FHIR Experience with front-end technologies such as C# .NET, Java, Python, and/or NodeJS.  Experience with Cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or equivalent.  Ability to manipulate and analyze data.  Experience working in a consultant/client environment.
