Known for its extensive industry expertise, Engineer Sales is dedicated to providing innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, hybrid role for an Inside Sales Representative located in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The Inside Sales Representative supports outside sales engineers and manufacturer partners by managing the quotation, order, and project lifecycle for utility customers. This position is responsible for managing the full order lifecycle, preparing quotes, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer service and accuracy across all transactions.Key Responsibilities:Customer & Sales SupportServe as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accountsPrepare and deliver quotations based on customer requirements and project specificationsCoordinate with manufacturer partners regarding pricing, lead times, and technical supportSupport outside sales representative with account management and project executionMaintain proactive communication with customers and partners regarding order status, delays, and issue resolutionOrder ManagementReview and verify order accuracy, including pricing, part numbers, vendor details, lead times, and shipping termsProcess orders through internal systems and manfucturer portalsGenerate and distribute order acknowledgements (OAs), confirming accuracy with both customer and manufacturerMaintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM and internal systemsOrder Tracking & Issue ResolutionMonitor open orders to ensure timely delivery and project alignmentExpedite orders with manufacturers as needed to meet customer deadlinesCommunicate delays and provide solutions to manage customer expectationsResolve order-related issues, including shipping discrepancies, damages, returns (RMAs), and warranty claimsInvoicing & ReportingEnsure orders are properly invoiced, marked as shipped, and closed in internal systemsMaintain accurate and organized records to support reporting and operational efficiencySkills & Experience:Previous inside sales, customer service, or order management experience preferredComfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office toolsAbility to manage high email volume and prioritize effectivelyExperience working with manufacturers or distributors is a plus
