District Sales Manager - Water & Road (South Carolina & Central Georgia)
DISTRICT SALES MANAGER – SeaDoo & CanAm OnRoad (South Carolina & Central Georgia)
We are looking for a District Sales Manager who will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will manage a group of dealers to deliver Sea‑Doo/PWC/Pontoon and Can‑Am On‑Road 3‑wheel and 2‑wheel electric product line growth through wholesale. The role involves influencing dealer retail activities, supporting dealer relationships and driving growth at BRP.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate dealer partnerships as a business partner to support long‑term success. Maintain regular dealership visits and act as primary liaison for wholesale orders.
Research and analyze dealer performance and market potential using available reporting tools. Develop strategic sales plans to achieve district retail and market share targets.
Deliver retail and wholesale objectives: mobilize dealers to engage in programs, provide go‑to‑market updates and market insights. Influence adoption of BRP best practices around inventory management, sales process, retail environment, merchandising and product training.
Empower and inspire dealership teams to drive retail results by delivering an elevated customer experience.
Actively participate in dealer marketing and collaborate on retail activation initiatives. Support dealers with product trainings and attend demo events, open houses, trade shows and community initiatives.
Track and document dealer contact activity in SalesForce. Maintain district operational excellence within budget and manage time efficiently. Complete expense reports, maintain mileage reporting and ensure compliance with BRP policies.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant sales experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct difficult business conversations.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with the ability to work across departments.
Initiative and drive, demonstrated by initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
Passion and enthusiasm for the powersports industry and outdoor recreational products.
Business acumen: analytical skills, understanding of profit centers and ability to recognize improvement opportunities.
Reside within the South Carolina & Southeast Georgia district (essential). Ideal location Augusta, GA or Savannah, SC.
Average travel 80%.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or MBA in a relevant field (marketing, business administration, sales, finance).
Experience in powersports, marine or automotive industry.
Dealership sales experience.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and problem‑solve.
