Our website is www.Altertrading.comJob Description/ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.1. Inspect and conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment2. May maintain facility equipment, on or off site including but not limited to:• Cranes• Forklifts• Loaders• Non-ferrous Shear• Skid Steer• Sorting Lines• Shredders• Trucks• Trailers• Wire Striper3. Prepare & maintain all maintenance records4. Organize and maintain cleanliness of Maintenance Department5. You will be involved in variety of other responsibilities including ordering parts, welding, and fabricating, minor electrical repairsQualifications1. High school diploma or GED required. Prefer AAS (technical degree) and/or technical certification in Truck Repair, Welding, Hydraulics, and Electrical & Diesel Mechanics.2. Minimum 2-4 years' experience in truck repairs, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, welding, electrical record keeping, and preventive maintenance programs. Must be able to multi-task & have the ability to develop effective working relationships with vendors & suppliers. Must be able to analyze facts and determine action using a range of procedures within limits of standard practice.
