We advocate treating patients as whole people, helping them attain mental, emotional, physical and spiritual recovery in addition to life-long sobriety.LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)Job PurposeUnder immediate supervision, supports staff in the provision of patient care; including recording vital signs, discussing chief health concerns, performing tests, administering injections, and assisting with procedures and documentation.Primary Responsibilities Measure and record patient’s vital signs i.e.; blood pressure, pulse. Discusses with patient any chief health concerns and records them. Performs any tests (if required for patient care). Administers injections (if required for patient care). Keeping medical records current. Wound care (if required for patient care). Prepares and/or administers (if needed), and records prescribed medication. Reports any adverse reaction to medication, reports to supervisor, and notes in medical records system. Assists in relevant health teaching to patient if needed. Keeping electronic health records (EHR) current. Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on all appropriate forms. Performs other position-related duties as assigned. Completes required orientation as directed by Freeman Recovery Center, LLC. Follows Freeman Recovery Center, LLC and OSHA safety rules, policies and procedures.Education And Experience, Degree And/or Certification Required (if Applicable)Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience. Current license(s), in good standing with the State of Tennessee Licensing Board. CPR, First Aid/AED training. Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Interpersonal/human relations skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to file and retrieve information in EHR.
