Our mentorship program is developed and directed by practice co-owner Karl Kolbeck, PT, OCS, SCS, COMT, FAAOMPT, who has taught manual therapy and orthopedic and sports rehab on the continuing education circuit for 15 years. Your mentorship is guaranteed and included in your hiring agreement; it is not a verbal ‘promise’ offered by many. It includes biweekly mentorship sessions during the first six months of employment and weekly mentorship sessions during months seven through twelve. In addition, monthly group meetings and provider in-services are also provided. New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience. A Sign-on bonus or relocation assistance is available for full-time therapists. FINANCIAL PACKAGE INCENTIVES INCLUDE: $2000 Sign-on Bonus or Relocation Assistance for full-time PT Quarterly Bonus Program: A productivity-based bonus program commencing month ten upon hire that averages $1000 per quarter for full-time employees with an established schedule Section 127 Plan‒Educational Assistance Program: Rose City PT pays up to the IRS-allowed limit of $5,250 (approximately $8000 pre-tax salary equivalent) annually in tax-free educational assistance Continuing Education: $1500 annual allowance, with provisions above and beyond that if working toward a manual therapy, orthopedic, or sports advanced certification tract. REQUIREMENTS OF THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST Affable, accountable, and inclusive Exceptional communication skills and rapport with patients, staff, supervisors, and referring providers Collaborative and work as part of a group Seek opportunities for program development and knowledge sharing Possess a strong work ethic, are a team player, and have a positive attitude Hold an active Oregon state PT license or application in process A manual therapy background or a strong interest is a plus, with certification in manual therapy desired or a goal of attaining certification Orthopedic and sports therapy experience; internship experience if a new grad ATC or CSCS a plus Commit two to three times yearly to weekend and evening community service events, sports/club medical coverage activities, and workshops.
