Applications are deployed within SharePoint websites and integrated with .NET applications, Oracle/Oracle Exadata, SQL Server Data Warehouse, OBIEE, Data Visualizer, and Power BI environments.The candidate should have experience in application programming, development, implementation, and support. The role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining secure and scalable GIS solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop customized web, mobile, and enterprise GIS applicationsDevelop geoprocessing and GIS web servicesBuild GIS web editing and mapping applicationsPerform unit, integration, system, and QA testingMaintain and upgrade existing GIS applications and servicesImplement data and system security controlsDocument GIS solutions and technical artifactsCollaborate with developers, architects, and project teamsAutomate data processing using ETL scriptsTroubleshoot and resolve complex GIS support issuesProvide technical guidance and mentor GIS staffTeam EnvironmentThe Enterprise GIS Team includes:1 Support Analyst2 ArcGIS Developers2 System Administrators1 Data Manager1 Team LeaderThe team supports over 180 ArcGIS Desktop users and approximately 60,000 annual ArcGIS Server web visits.Work Terms and Conditions40 hours per week, Monday to Friday8-hour fixed schedule between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM Eastern Time startHybrid work schedule preferredLocal candidates preferred over remote candidatesMust comply with Client policies and telework requirementsReliable internet connection required for remote workConsultant must have a cell phone for business communicationNo free parking providedNo extended leave during the first year without approvalAdditional InformationThe contract is currently set through the end of the Client Fiscal Year, with potential yearly extensions based on performance and project needs.
