Open Positions 2 Drivers – Farmington Hot Mix Plant 21716 S. Dupont Hwy, Farmington, DE 19950 1 Driver – Newark, DE 10 Adel Dr, Newark, DE 19702 Drivers may be assigned to either A-Del Construction or Colonial Trucking, depending on fleet needs. While each driver will have a home base, flexibility is required — you may be dispatched north or south depending on project and operational demands. Requirements Valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement No license restrictions — must be able to operate manual transmission dump trucks Tanker Endorsement required for Newark, DE position Must pass DOT drug screen and physical Clean driving record with solid understanding of safe loading, transport, and unloading practices Availability for Saturday and night shifts (standard for this position) Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Willingness to work in all weather conditions Preferred Experience Prior experience hauling construction materials (asphalt, stone, dirt) Familiarity with construction sites, dispatch systems, and traffic control protocols Duties Operate dump trucks to haul materials to and from construction sites Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain safety/compliance logs Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch for efficient operations Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed Maintain vehicles and follow all company and DOT safety policies Operate additional equipment (water trucks, graders, etc.) when required Additional Information This is a full-time, year-round position offering steady work and opportunities to grow within an established company. If you cannot operate a manual transmission or are unavailable for weekend/night work, this position will not be a good fit. Starting pay is based on experience and endorsements.
