This Loan Processor will be joining the ABL team that is experiencing tremendous growth this year and presents an exciting opportunity for ambitious new team members.The applicant will gather all necessary documentation and report inconsistencies to Underwriting. By providing prompt, efficient and accurate support to customers and co-workers from the application stage through the funding process, you will play a key role in maintaining our company’s position as a partner in helping our borrowers reach their financial goals.The applicant should be detail oriented. Customer service and communication skills are key since you will be the glue that binds all interested parties, from borrowers to underwriters. The applicant should also have an aptitude in math and excellent time management skills.ResponsibilitiesManage a constant pipeline of 50+ loansSend list of open conditions to borrowersCollect documentation from borrowersFile documentation using ABL’s naming conventions and locationsOrganize documentation in filesClear underwriting conditionsReport any inconsistencies in documentation to the VP of Loan Operations and the underwritersCommunicate with borrowers about closing deliverablesUpdate underwriters & sales staff about loan statusPre-close check all loan documentation for errors, communicate corrections to attorneysPrepare wire trade ticketReview HUDS and other pre-closing documentationSend HUD for revisions and finalize with attorneys and title companySet up loan closings in a timely mannerConfirm loan has closed and funded properlyAdditional projects and tasks as needed to support processing and operations
