Property Accountant (Commercial Real Estate)Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support the full-cycle accounting function for a portfolio of commercial properties. This role requires strong foundational accounting knowledge, the ability to work in a highly manual environment, and experience with CAM reconciliations. The ideal candidate is dependable, demonstrates career longevity, and can contribute to a system implementation initiative.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial propertiesPrepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentationMaintain general ledger and ensure proper application of debits and credits (Dr/Cr)Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPrepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and tenant billingsReview and analyze financial statements, identifying and resolving variancesManage a highly manual accounting process with strong attention to detailAssist with account reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and tenant accountsPartner with internal teams on financial reporting and operational supportQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree)Proven experience in property accounting, preferably in commercial real estateStrong understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and journal entriesExperience with CAM reconciliations requiredExperience working in manual or less automated environmentsPrior involvement in an ERP implementation, including testing and process validationFamiliarity with Yardi or similar property management/accounting systems is a plusSalary 90-95K#ZRCFS #LI-BF1 #INJUN2026
