Elderly Caregiver

Job Summary We are seeking a kind, dependable companion for an elderly woman who lives independently and would benefit from regular social connection and light assistance. This role focuses on companionship and quality of life rather than medical or personal care. Responsibilities include engaging in conversation and shared activities, providing emotional presence, and helping reduce isolation. The companion will assist with light household tasks such as tidying, basic cleaning, simple organization, and occasional light laundry. Some meal preparation may be needed, including preparing simple meals or snacks and keeping the kitchen tidy. The role also includes transportation to appointments, errands, or outings, as well as accompanying her on short trips. Light physical activity, such as walking or gentle exercise, will be done together for encouragement and support. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a caring, respectful demeanor are essential. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule and competitive pay.
