ACT Tutor – RemotePosition Summary:We are looking for an experienced and results-driven ACT Tutor to help us design the curriculum and teach the first cohort of students through the program. This role has two parts: first, helping us build the curriculum framework — what to teach, in what order, and which resources to use based on a student’s diagnostic profile. Second, tutoring students through the program over the next year.All students come through Nova Learning and our partner college consulting firm, so no marketing or sourcing is required on your end.Key Responsibilities:Help build and organize the ACT prep curriculum framework.Determine what topics to teach, in what sequence, and which resources to use based on students’ diagnostic profiles and target scores.Develop personalized learning plans and testing strategies.Conduct virtual one-on-one or group ACT tutoring sessions.Teach ACT English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing concepts effectively.Help students improve pacing, accuracy, and critical thinking skills.Assign and review practice exercises, homework, and mock exams.Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and families.Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve the ACT prep offering.Stay informed about ACT updates, curriculum changes, and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, English, or a related field.Proven experience tutoring ACT preparation programs.Strong knowledge of ACT exam structure and subject coverage.Experience building curriculum frameworks, tutoring methodologies, or structured prep programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to personalize instruction based on student diagnostic profiles and performance data.Comfortable using online learning platforms and virtual teaching tools.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to work independently in a remote environment.Preferred Skills:Experience designing or scaling ACT prep programs.Demonstrated success improving student ACT scores.Familiarity with ACT prep resources, diagnostics, and scoring strategies.Strong virtual instruction and student engagement capabilities.Experience working with college-bound students and academic advising environments.Location: Full RemoteFor Interested Applicants:Please send your updated resume, relevant teaching certifications, and any curriculum samples or student success stories to the hiring team.
