We take great pride in our people and believe they are our greatest asset.Affordable Medical, Pharmacy, and DentalEmployee Wellness PlanLife and Disability Insurance401k Profit Trust PlanPTOGrowth OpportunitiesCompetitive PayCompany HolidaysWhat will you do?In this role, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal and non-metallic parts by operating CNC Turning Machines.Key ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeder, live tooling.Optimize set up times, maximize machine utilizationAbility to run CNC vertical mills/robo drillsUnderstand specifications of the tasks by reading blueprints, route instructionsExperience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments when neededSetup CNC lathe machines to complete full cycles to produce a high and low volume of parts, improve productivity, maintain offsets and inspect parts with a high degree of precisionFollow in-process part inspection process, notify Supervisor/Lead on the occurrence of non-conformance.Communicate with superintends, managers, production control, quality personnel for assignments, and resolve quality issues.Document all issues written to ensure a smooth transition between shiftsCheck and perform preventive maintenance dailyWhat are we looking for?We're looking for engaged individuals that are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning and enjoy working with others.Key CompetenciesKnow how to use all required measuring equipment which includes caliper, gauges, to ensure qualityProficient math skillsAbility to document machining procedures Knowledge of metals, part holding fixtures, and lathe/mill toolingExperience in Okuma, Mazak, Mori lathe machines will be preferredSimple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in EnglishPhysically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning componentsWork scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policiesConsistently stand for an entire shiftStrong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledgeWillingness to be trained with a desire to learnAbility to work in a team settingGreat work ethics and reliablePositive attitudeEducation - Required, High School or betterExperience - Preferred, Five years of CNC Lathe Setup, programming, and operating.Schedule : 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:00PMTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company’s Arlington, TX branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
