Come join in the fun, apply today.Title: Safety & Security AssociateReports To: Safety & Security SupervisorDepartment: Guest ServicesSummary of Position Responsible for the access and control of all incoming traffic, monitoring and directing vehicles to the appropriate parking lots, and ensuring guest safety by constant surveillance of the Company’s properties.Duties And ResponsibilitiesStand and greet each car approaching the gatehouse. Check each pass holders car and ensure all guests have their own passConfirm that guests of pass holders have appropriate guest / day / member passBe polite and informative while speaking with pass holders and guestsWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazardsNotify the office for all club deliveries and guest tours and direct to appropriate areaKeep Events Chalkboard current for each week; announce special events of the day and make announcements of current events on sale. Hand out flyers given by management to all vehiclesMaintain guest log and POS register as required by the postEnsure the safety of the property by never leaving the gatehouse unattendedNotify the front office in case of emergency and escort emergency vehicles to emergency siteEnforce rules of the facility at all times; lock down site / entrances at designated timeInvestigate & prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities in a timely mannerBe professional by wearing the proper uniform and maintaining appearanceUnderstand company’s ISO management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.Other duties as assigned and as identified on the duties checklistPosition RequirementsSuperior customer services skills, strong communication skills and a team playerMust be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shiftsMust have excellent communication skills and able manage multiple tasks efficientlySignificant time spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people Must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the job including the ability to be outdoors and on your feet for 8 hours a dayHourly rate of pay $20.00Knowledge and ExperienceEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience: Six (6) months in a hotel/resort setting preferredResort/ National Park Concession Experience PreferredQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
