Job SummaryThe Cards and Payments Domain Consultant will support solution development and early-stage project envisioning within the cards and payments domain. The role requires strong knowledge of the card transaction lifecycle, including issuer and acquirer processing. The consultant will collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and compliance teams to translate business needs into functional solutions. Responsibilities include managing product backlogs, writing user stories, coordinating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring successful delivery of payment-related solutions. The role also involves working with stakeholders to design user experiences, track business metrics, and ensure compliance with financial services standards.LocationSunrise, FL - OnsiteExperience6+ years of experience in Cards and Payments domain, Business Analysis, or Product Ownership roles within financial services.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport solution development and contribute to early-stage project planning and envisioning.Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and compliance teams to define and deliver payment solutions.Capture business requirements and pain points, converting them into epics, features, and user stories.Manage and prioritize product backlogs using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or Trello.Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI design concepts in collaboration with UX teams.Document business processes, workflows, and requirements in Confluence and other documentation tools.Track OKRs and KPIs and build dashboards to measure product performance and business health.Ensure product compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.Support QA teams in defining test scenarios, test cases, and validating testing outcomes.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of the card transaction lifecycle including issuer and acquirer processing.Experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Domain Consultant in the payments industry.Proficiency in Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.Experience with backlog management and Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or Trello.Ability to write detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and system architecture concepts.Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, compliance, and operations.Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional environments.Preferred SkillsExperience with AI tools and understanding of AI applications within financial services.Familiarity with QA tools and automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.Experience with payments platforms such as BaNCS Payments or card issuing systems.Knowledge of UX design collaboration, prototyping tools, and wireframing practices.
