Development Manager

The Development Manager is crucial in securing the financial resources necessary to support our mission of empowering immigrant women in Maine through English language acquisition programs. This position reports to the Executive Director and plays a pivotal role in fundraising, grant writing, event management, and social media engagement. Here are a few more specifics: We are offering part-time work at this time, about 15-20 hours/week Our office is in downtown Portland We prefer a bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or event management The pay will be hourly, $27.50 - $31.25 We offer vacation/sick days We will ask you to work on site in Portland but there may be some ability to work remotely at times Job Type: Part-time Pay: $27.50 - $31.25 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Fundraising: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Portland, ME 04101 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
