Title of Position: Hotel General Manager Job Description: The Hotel General Manager oversees the daily operation of the entire establishment, team members, and facilities. Additionally, they will need to control labor costs while leading management team members in safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles. The Hotel General Manager is responsible for selecting, scheduling, coaching, developing, mentoring, managing, and leading their team effectively to ensure the success of the establishment. Success in this position requires care and skill in all aspects of leadership, from providing guidance and training to team members at all levels to creating a positive work environment that fosters exceptional guest experiences. To thrive in this role, a deep understanding of the restaurant industry is essential, including best practices for food and beverage service, cost control measures, and safety and sanitation regulations.
