Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.- Outpatient Clinic Location: Duluth, GA 30096 Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension) Shift: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM (Weekend and holiday coverage required) Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to Southwood and Townpark locations Job Description: The Advanced Care Center operates as an urgent care facility with higher patient acuity and includes a Critical Decision Unit for short-term observation, including overnight monitoring when necessary.The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process to assess patient health status, identify nursing diagnoses, establish care goals, and implement and evaluate individualized care plans.Key Responsibilities: · Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient conditions in a high-acuity urgent care environment.· Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.· Provide observation and ongoing care for patients requiring short-term monitoring in the Critical Decision Unit.· Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and clinical decision-making.· Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.· Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).· Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.Requirements: · Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license.· Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or Critical Care settings.· BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.· Experience with high-acuity patients, rapid assessments, and critical decision-making in a fast-paced clinical environment. xmcpwfu
