This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise web applications in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.As a member of our IT Solutions team, you'll work alongside software developers, database administrators, system administrators, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing Java web applications.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement new web applications to support the NASA SEWP ProgramMaintain and improve the existing Java web-based applications that support the NASA SEWP Program focusing on usability and performancePerform peer code reviews and application testing to include unit, integration, regression and performance testing to maintain software quality and integrityParticipate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, coding, implementation and production launchCollaborate with application developers, database and systems administrators, content management and internal stakeholdersDocument the system, component and interface designs and requirements to ensure future maintainabilityAdhere to project schedules and proactively resolve or escalate issues to managementAdapt and contribute to a fast-paced and agile application development environmentParticipate in the maintenance and deployment of projects, providing support outside normal core business hours or nights and weekendsProvide Level II (technical) customer support via phone, e-mail and ServiceNow customer service ticketing softwareRequired QualificationsRequired: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related fieldRequired: 5+ years of experience developing Java web-based applicationsRequired: 3+ years of experience working with ORACLE databases writing SQL queriesPreferred: Java experience to include JSP, Spring Web Framework and RESTful Web ServicesPreferred: Experience with CSS and HTML, JSON and XMLPreferred: Experience with JBoss, Hibernate or myBATIS, Maven, rich AJAX web applications, GIT and Software Development Process Model knowledgeOptional: Agile Development ExperienceOther Requirements:With the ability to obtain a clearance of Public TrustMust work On-site a minimum of three (3) days per week.Must possess strong written and oral communications skillsBusiness Integra, Inc. and our affiliates are equal opportunity employers, committed to diversity and inclusion.
