Marlin's Cafe is looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Shift Manager to help lead our team and deliver exceptional food and aloha service every day. What You'll Do Lead and motivate team members during each shift Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere Open and/or close the café following company procedures Delegate tasks and keep the team organized Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards Assist with food preparation and beverage service when needed Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally Maintain inventory levels and communicate supply needs Train and coach team members to meet Marlin's Cafe standards Ensure all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists are completed Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment What We're Looking For Previous restaurant, café, or food service leadership experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent customer service attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and professional Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods What We Offer Flexible scheduling Employee meal discounts Growth and advancement opportunities Positive, supportive team environment Opportunity to be part of a locally owned Kauai café Join Our Team!
