This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform PET and PET/CT imaging procedures according to established protocolsPrepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with radiation safety standardsVerify patient identity, review medical history, and explain procedures to patientsPosition patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic imagesMonitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactionsOperate, calibrate, and perform basic troubleshooting of PET imaging equipmentMaintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and documentationAdhere to ALARA principles and all local, state, and federal radiation regulationsCollaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staffMaintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environmentParticipate in quality assurance, quality control, and continuing education activities Qualifications & ExperienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related fieldCertification by ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB requiredPET and/or PET/CT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)Valid state licensure where requiredKnowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and radiation safetyProficiency in PET and PET/CT imaging systemsNew Graduates are also accepted BenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance401(k) company match (2%)5 free scans per year for immediate familyApply Fast!
