Front End Software Developer (React)
Overview:
In this role you will own front-end delivery for a new commodities order management platform, primarily building in React and collaborating with backend services as needed. You'll contribute to a greenfield UI within a small, fully remote team and support go-live preparations near New York. The work blends product-driven UI design with cross-functional collaboration to deliver a cohesive order input and lifecycle management experience. This is a contract role with preferred on-site support in the NY metro around go-live.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain React components for the commodities order management platform
- Develop order input and order lifecycle management screens
- Translate product requirements into working front end functionality ahead of go live
- Contribute to back end services that support the user interface
- Collaborate with product partners on UI design and workflow decisions
- Work alongside a small, fully remote engineering team
