CTL Associate I

The CTL Associate I performs and/or verifies a variety of routine and specialized/complex cellular therapy laboratory procedures and projects for the purpose of clinical research as directed, such as clinical product manufacturing and infusions, process and product development, immune testing and characterization, etc. This position works as part of a team to execute CTL operations in close collaboration with materials management, quality control, quality assurance and scientific leads. The CTL Associate conducts cell-based assays under supervision of scientific lead.Qualifications:Minimum EducationBachelor's degree with a major in basic science or related field desired. (Preferred)Minimum Work Experience0 years (Required)Required Skills/KnowledgeAbility to handle potentially infectious materials, such as, blood and marrow specimens observing proper safety regulations and procedures.Functional AccountabilitiesResponsible Conduct of ResearchConsistently demonstrates adherence to the standards for the responsible conduct of research.Plans, conducts and manages research projects within federal and institutional regulations and policies under the direction of the principal investigator.Uses research funds and resources appropriately.Maintains confidentiality of data as required.Meets all annual job-related training and compliance requirements.Other ResponsibilitiesCompletes required training assignments to maintain necessary technical skills and knowledge and to ensure compliance with cGMP or other requirements.Performs release testing assays and be able to process blood samples.
