Our flagship brands, LiftMaster® and Chamberlain® , are found in 51+ million homes, and 14 million+ people rely on the myQ® app daily.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead one or more large or platform programs independently; lead globally distributed teamsAct as Team Lead to assigned programs, building a team of cross-functional members, conducting meetings, establishing deliverables and accountability, communicating progress and results to all interested parties, and ensuring that all critical elements of the program, from design to commercialization, are on target to meet objectivesProvide leadership on measures, impact assessment, removal of roadblocks, conflicts, and change of scope decisionsPrepare and deliver executive level communication and/or presentations regarding product reviews / forums, New Product Development (NPD), etc. to varying audiences up to and including the CEO.Provide New Product Development training to all core team personnel worldwide; create and update training materials as a subject matter expertIdentify, plan and lead process improvement initiatives to support the growth and development or best practices and processEnsure New Product Development and business processes compliance for programsCommunicate program status, issues and metrics to the Business UnitComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Education/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, finance, business, management, or economicsAn advanced degree in directly applicable area of study may substitute for up to two (2) years of experience.PMP Certification strongly preferred; or commitment to obtain certification within one (1) year of date of hire or promotion.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong reading comprehension skillsAbility to understand business objectivesExcellent time management skillsAbility to lead and run stakeholder meetingsGood skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparencyExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Project and schedule techniques and best practicesFamiliarity with general MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, or equivalentAbility to efficiently communicate to all levels of organization or outside partners; excellent presentation skills; ability to lead a team of engineers in a matrix environment; strong analytical skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to analyze team progress, provide executive level presentations on that analysis with business impacts, and develop and present proposed mitigation plansExcellent listening skillsDesire to seek out and complete trainings relevant to the position or projects assignedDisplay high emotional Intelligence to connect meaningfully with team membersAbility to make decisions rapidlyThe pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $193,425.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
