POSITION SUMMARY
This role requires a combination of accounting and tech skills. The Implementation Specialist works directly with Integra clients to define, develop, and implement technology solutions for investor accounting in mortgage servicing. Responsibilities include the following:
Understand and communicate reconciliation practices for custodial accounts, escrow accounts, clearing accounts, general ledger accounts and mortgage accounting processes
Gather requirements and document complex business requirements and other project artifacts
Work closely with the Integra project implementation team to deliver software solutions to new and existing clients
Test and configure production, demo, and test environments
Communicate and coordinate with the Integra development team to help deliver new software features
No programming experience is required, but knowledge of SQL and advanced use of Excel for data handling is required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
This position requires a blend of accounting and technical skills, and the ideal candidate would bring experience in both these areas.
Major in Accounting and/or Computer Science; we're looking for a strong aptitude in numbers and a willingness to learn the business process
Excellent spoken and written communication
Highly analytical mindset, with no fear of accounting or working with large data sets
Programming experience not required, but hands-on experience in SQL or another language is desirable. Strong Excel skills.
