With a focus on innovation, quality, and user experience, they collaborate across industries to develop transformative solutions that respond to evolving urban needs.About the RoleWe are seeking a Cellular Systems Engineer to support the development and optimization of next-generation connectivity systems within an autonomous vehicle ecosystem. This role focuses on analyzing cellular performance, building automation tools, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve system reliability and end-to-end quality of service.What you will be doing:Collaborate with field deployment, firmware, and software teams to analyze and interpret connectivity performance dataInvestigate modem-level logs from chipsets such as Qualcomm and Samsung to identify root causes of performance issuesDevelop automation tools to process large-scale performance data and streamline diagnosticsAnalyze key performance indicators and recommend system or architectural improvements to enhance quality of servicePartner with system architecture teams to design and prototype connectivity solutions across LTE, 5G, WiFi, and GPS domainsAbout YouRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related fieldExpert knowledge of 4G-LTE and 5G-NR protocols across PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, and NAS layersHands-on experience with modem diagnostic tools such as QXDM, QCAT, ShannonDM, or WiresharkProven ability to troubleshoot complex network performance issues including mobility and connectivity failuresStrong Python programming skills for automation and log analysisSolid understanding of RAN and core network architecture3-5+ years of experience in cellular protocol engineeringPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with large-scale data analysis or automation frameworksExposure to autonomous systems or mobility platformsApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
