This role will oversee strategy, content creation, and daily management of our social channels, ensuring that every post reflects the heritage, nostalgia and timeless quality of the Petite Plume brand.The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building an engaged community, driving brand awareness, and translating key marketing moments into compelling social storytelling.ResponsibilitiesPlatform ManagementManage Petite Plume’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTubeOwn day-to-day posting, scheduling, and publishing across platformsMonitor comments, messages, and community engagement to build a strong brand communityContent CreationDevelop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube, aligning posts with product launches, seasonal moments, and broader marketing initiatives.Define and execute core content pillars to guide storytelling and ensure a balanced mix of brand heritage, product features, lifestyle inspiration, community/UGC, and key campaign messaging across all platforms.Plan and produce engaging content including short-form video, imagery, and graphicsCapture and edit social-first video content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube ShortsMaintain a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic across all channelsCoordinate product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand storytelling moments on socialAttend in-person events and photoshoots to capture behind the scenes contentStrategy & GrowthDevelop and execute a social media strategy focused on audience growth and engagement continuously fine tuning to adapt to the ever changing algorithmIdentify trends, formats, and cultural moments relevant to the brandTest new content approaches and optimize performance based on analyticsWork closely with Paid Social Agency to implement learnings, where relevant, to OrganicInfluencer & UGC CollaborationWork closely with the Influencer Marketing Manager to amplify partnerships on social platformsSource, curate, and repost user-generated contentBuild relationships with creators and brand advocates, when relevant, in partnership with the Influencer Marketing manager Analytics & ReportingTrack key performance metrics across platforms including engagement, reach, growth, and conversionProvide weekly and monthly social performance recaps and insights to leadershipUse analytics to refine content strategy and inform future campaignsQualifications5+ years managing social media for a brand, fashion/lifestyle company, or agency (fashion-experience preferred)Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTubeStrong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistencyExperience shooting and editing short-form video contentStrong writing and copyediting skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesTools & Technical SkillsExperience with Nectar or social management platformsFamiliarity with AI tools for content creation, such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, Runway, Opus Clip, or similar creator-focused toolsExperience using photo and video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or FigmaComfortable analyzing social performance and platform analyticsOur BenefitsAs a 100% founder-owned growing startup, we are committed to offering a package that supports employees in life's moments both big and small, including:Competitive salary5+ weeks total Paid Time Off throughout the year10 PTO days + 5 sick days11 paid federal holidaysHalf-day “Summer Fridays” from Memorial Day to Labor DayA 401K and company profit-sharing plan after one year of tenureGenerous health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents50% employee discount on petite-plume.comAn inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environmentAnnual discretionary bonus programCompany offsites 1-2x a year for in-person collaboration and team buildingSalary: $70,000 - $75,000Petite Plume is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative environment.
