Our Story: Located at the historic Oshkosh Country Club near Lake Winnebago, TJ’s Highland Steakhouse delivers world-class cuisine and luxury service in a setting reminiscent of a traditional Scottish lodge. Our menu features USDA Prime dry-aged beef broiled to perfection at 1500F plus a selection of fresh seafood and specialty dishes prepared by celebrated New York City chef, Michael England. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate genuine hospitality and set the stage for an exceptional dining experience by making every single Guest feel welcome upon arrival Receive incoming phone calls with a professional, knowledgeable and friendly approach Engage in friendly conversation as you seat Guests in a timely fashion Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete cleaning as assigned Assist in clearing, cleaning and preparing tables for incoming Guests as necessary Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set Guest expectations Open door for Guests arriving and departing Sincerely thank Guests as they leave and invite them to return Personal Requirements: Must have upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a team Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time Maintains strong personal image and uniform standards Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Shift: 8 hour shift Night shift Ability to Commute: Oshkosh, WI 54902 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Oshkosh, WI 54902: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
