Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled AWS Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions that drive innovation and operational excellence. Responsibilities Design and develop comprehensive cloud architecture solutions utilizing AWS services such as S3, VPC, Lambda, and other cloud-native tools to meet business requirements. Lead cloud migration projects by assessing existing systems, creating migration strategies, and executing seamless transitions to cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. Implement scalable systems using microservices architecture, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins to streamline deployment processes. Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure by implementing identity and access management (IAM), virtual private clouds (VPCs), VPNs, and security best practices aligned with FedRAMP standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design web services and APIs following RESTful principles for reliable application development. Optimize cloud infrastructure performance through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting issues related to operating systems, virtualization platforms such as VMware or OpenStack, and distributed systems. Drive innovation in cloud development by adopting Cloud Native Design principles, ensuring scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness across all solutions. Experience Proven experience designing enterprise-scale cloud architectures leveraging AWS or comparable platforms such as Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure. Strong background in solution architecture with hands-on knowledge of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a Service), and hybrid cloud environments. Extensive experience working with virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Rackspace, or Citrix. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell along with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef for deploying scalable systems. Demonstrated expertise in implementing cloud migration projects involving operating systems like Linux or Windows; databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle; NoSQL solutions; and web services using RESTful APIs. Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins or Git for continuous integration and delivery workflows. Knowledge of security frameworks such as FedRAMP compliance standards; experience deploying identity management solutions (IAM); understanding of network security including VPNs and Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs). Educational background in computer science or related fields complemented by certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent credentials.
