Senior Business Analyst - Des Moines, IowaSeeking an experienced Business Analyst to support documentation and modernization of home-grown enterprise systems. This role requires strong expertise in data mapping and data modeling to analyze existing applications and support system modernization initiatives.Work ArrangementOnsite: 4 days per weekHours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMRate: $45-50p/hrBusiness professional environmentAssignment extension anticipated on 7/1/2026Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather and document business and system requirementsCreate, present, and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional/design documentationDocument, trace, prioritize, and manage changes to business processes, workflows, and system functionalityPerform data analysis, data mapping, and data modeling to support application modernizationResearch issues, analyze data, and recommend process and system improvementsMaintain project documentation including status updates, risks, issues, dependencies, and timelinesWork within an Agile delivery framework, adapting to shifting priorities to deliver maximum valueParticipate in database analysis and forms analysis as neededMay support project management or quality assurance activities for smaller initiativesRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience in data mapping and data modeling (required)Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and full SDLCExperience delivering software solutions in an Agile / Scrum environmentAbility to analyze business needs and strategies and translate them into system requirementsExperience developing business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and impact analysisStrong ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and VisioExperience using Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira, or RTCDemonstrated success driving continuous process improvement and modernization efforts#INDTSPeoplelink LLC, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of ‘linking’ communities through employment.
